LIU : Line Interface Unit
The board LIU (Line Interface Unit) was designed to convert the GPS-locked standard frequency of a preconnected Meinberg GPS satellite controlled clock into several timing signals that can be used for various synchronization or measurement tasks.
Typical applications are:
- Measurement and test of synchronization quality of Telecom networks
- Calibration and synchronization of laboratory equipment
- Test of synchronization of radio transmitters / base stations \\ (GSM / CDMA / UMTS / DAB / DVB)
|
|
TCG511 : Time Code Generator (Eurocard)
- Unmodulated outputs with TTL, RS232 and RS422 level
- Status LED
- Time information coded in IRIG-A/B or AFNOR format
- Controlled by GPS or PZF Receiver
- High accurate sinewave carrier for modulated output

The LANTIME M900 is a set of equipment composed of a satellite controlled clock GPS170SV, a single-board computer with integrated network board and a power supply, all installed in a metal 19 inch modular chassis and ready to operate. Optionally a additional network port with hardware time stamping for the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) IEEE1588-2008 will be integrated.
An LC Display shows the status of the reference time source as well as the time service. Additionally three bi-color (green/red) LEDs clearly indicate the state of the three main components (time source, network time service, network) and a red alarm LED signals major system failures.
The LANTIME M900 offers a lot of space for output modules and several power supply options in its 3U rackmount chassis. This allows for a large number of different outputs like 1PPS, 10MHz, IRIG, serial timestrings or up to 7 Ethernet ports to support large network infrastructures.
As an alternative to GPS a number of other reference time sources are available for inclusion in the M900 system, for example DCF77 (PZF), IRIG (TCR), MSF, WWVB or NTP.
Additional Features and Options:
- external NTP timeserver
- free configuration of NTP: thereby MD5 authentication and access control via address & mask restriction
- extended menu guidance for configuration and monitoring via Telnet, SSH or serial terminal interface
- optional up to 3 RJ45/10/100 Mbit Ethernet interfaces
- extended HTTP statistic support with long-term graphic and access statistic to NTP
- alarm messages can be displayed on external large display VP100/20/NET
- USB memory stick slot for extended functionality: software update, transfer of secure certificates, log files and configurations, keypad locking
