If you need to provide time to multiple networks, MEINBERG has the affordable solution. The LNE LANTIME Network Expansion option provides an additional pair of Ethernet ports.

The LANTIME M320/TCR Network Time Server combines a Time Code Receiver module with an embedded Linux computer.

The Meinberg LANTIME M320/TCR IRIG time server provides accurate time to networks of any size. It synchronizes all systems either NTP- or SNTP-compatible and comes with a built-in Meinberg TCR module which decodes a IRIG/AFNOR signal from any compatible time code generator. A highly stable and precise oscillator is capable of bridging failures or a temporary loss of the IRIG signal.

A large display shows the state of the internal IRIG/AFNOR receiver and the NTP subsystem.

The configuration of the system can be done by using a standard web browser to access the extensive but straightforward html interface. Alternatively a text based and menu driven setup utility can be started from the shell prompt after logging into the unit via Telnet or SSH.

Because of its modular system architecture it is possible to equip a LANTIME time server with up to two additional ethernet ports and a number of different reference time sources. Optionally several additional frequency-, serial string- and pulse outputs are available. Besides that two oscillators ensure fantastic holdover characteristics (e.g. when the IRIG/AFNOR signal is disturbed or not available): the reliable temperature controlled base model (TCXO) and the excellent oven controlled OCXO LQ.
