The LANTIME M900 is based on a 3U BGT chassis that serves as the platform for an extremely flexible and expandable Time Server concept to meet the most complex and demanding requirements. The M900 can be configured with a wide variety of Reference Clock options, Oscillator options (including Rubidium), Output options, and Power Supply Options. Complex systems can easily be configured with redundant receivers, redundant power supplies, and multiple output signals.

Due to the modular nature of the LANTIME 900 series, virtually every Meinberg LANTIME feature can be accomodated in the M900, with controls and displays easily accessible from the front panel and a far greater number of outputs mounted either on the front or rear panels to suit your specific needs.

PTP Option in LANTIME M900 Modular System

As an alternative to GNSS (GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou) a number of other reference time sources are available for inclusion in the M900 system, for example DCF77 (PZF), IRIG (TCR), MSF or NTP.

The board LIU (Line Interface Unit) was designed to convert the GPS-locked standard frequency of a preconnected Meinberg GPS satellite controlled clock into several timing signals that can be used for various synchronization or measurement tasks.
