TCR511PCI: IRIG Time Code Receiver for Computers (PCI/PCI-X bus)

This Product is replaced by PCI Express Time Code Receiver

Key Features:

  • Receives IRIG A, B or AFNOR time codes
  • Status LEDs
  • Pulses per second (1PPS) and per minute (1PPM)
  • Buffered hardware clock
  • Configurable time zone

The Meinberg TCR511PCI receives and decodes IRIG A, B and AFNOR time codes, and uses them to synchronize the system time of the host PC. The decoded date and time can be read via the PCI/PCI-X bus interface and is also transmitted via the board's RS-232 port. The receiver's AGC allows synchronization to modulated IRIG signals with an amplitude range of 600mVpp to 8Vpp. A buffered real time clock retains the time and date after power down. The TCR511PCI can optionally be supplied with an optocoupler input to decode unmodulated codes with TTL or RS485 levels.

This card is equipped with a standard height bracket with an integrated D-Sub connector for the serial interface, the pulse per second and pulse per minute outputs, and the unmodulated IRIG code input.

The easy-to-use Meinberg API enables you to access this stable and accurate time base and its status information from within your own applications.
