TCR511PEX:
IRIG Time Code Receiver for Computers (PCI Express)

This Product is replaced by PCI Express Time Code Receiver

Key Features:

  • Receives IRIG A, B or AFNOR time codes
  • Status LEDs
  • Pulses per second (1 PPS) and per minute (1 PPM)
  • Buffered hardware clock
  • Configurable time zone

Reception of IRIG-A/B or AFNOR time codes for synchronization of computers and networks in PCI Express form factor.

The Meinberg TCR511PEX receives and decodes IRIG A, B and AFNOR time codes, and the decoded date and time are read via the PCI Express interface and transmitted by the board's RS-232 port. The receiver' AGC allows synchronization to modulated IRIG signals with an amplitude range of 600mVpp to 8Vpp. A buffered real time clock retains the time and date after power down. The TCR511PEX can optionally be supplied with an optocoupler input to decode unmodulated codes with TTL or RS485 levels.

This card is a x1-board (single lane) "low profile" format, and is equipped with a standard height bracket with an integrated D-Sub connector for the serial interface, the pulse per second and pulse per minuteoutputs, and the unmodulated IRIG code input. A smaller bracket is included for "low profile" installations, but eliminates the D-Sub connector.
