USB Radio Clocks
Meinberg USA added two new USB devices to their product range: The WWVB51USB radio clock receives the US longwave time signal and the TCR51USB is capable of decoding either modulated (AM) or unmodulated (DCLS) IRIG signals provided by an IRIG generator.
The WWVB time signal is broadcasted by a transmitter located in Fort Collins, Colorado on a 60 kHz frequency. The transmitter is operated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the civil authority responsible for the official time base of the United States of America.
