High End Stratum 1 NTP Time Server with integrated GPS radio clock and a highly stable and precise oscillator

The Meinberg LANTIME M600 Time Server includes a GPS Reference Clock as its reference time source to synchronize all timing outputs with the utmost accuracy. The front panel includes a VF Display and keypad for easy configuration and indication of the GPS receiver and NTP subsystem status. Four independent RJ45 10/100 MBit ethernet interfaces are standard, as well as two independent RS232 serial ports that are menu configurable. Modulated (AM) and unmodulated (TTL/DCLS) time codes and precision 10 MHz, 1 PPS, and 1 PPM are output via BNCs on the rear panel. The M600 also includes a Frequency Synthesizer that can be programmed for an output frequency from 1/8 Hz to 10 MHz.

A high quality precision OCXO-LQ is standard in the M600, to meet the stringent accuracy requirements that are required by PTP and other high precision interfaces. There are also several precision quartz oscillator options available for applications with higher accuracy and stability requirements (look at oscillator options for details). The oscillator determines the holdover characteristics (drift) when the Reference Clock signal is disturbed or temporarily unavailable.

It is possible to configure the LANTIME M600 Time Server with a number of different precision reference sources including GPS, PTP, or available IRIG/AFNOR Time Codes. The MRS version can synchronize to all of these sources simultaneously, with user-selectable priority and switchover time. The standard power supply is 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Output options include DC power input, additional network or serial ports, different serial string configurations, and frequency and pulse outputs.
